Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Kayleigh relocated with her family to Pennsylvania after losing their home in Hurricane Andrew. It was in Pennsylvania that Kayleigh had her first job in a sports bar/restaurant. When she went to college, she worked at a busy American restaurant/bar chain.
After graduating from Florida State University with two degrees — a bachelor’s degree in psychology and one in criminology — Kayleigh planned to pursue her doctoral degree and a career in counterterrorism. However, after discovering a good company that stayed true to their brand and their involvement in the community, Kayleigh found a home working alongside her peers and the owners of an authentic Cuban cuisine restaurant.
Despite her background and diverse cultural interests, Kayleigh felt a personal connection with the hospitality industry, specifically management. It was during this time that Kayleigh says her management style started to take form as the owners encouraged her to learn and grow; Kayleigh accepted the title and performed the tasks of General Manager for two years before relocating to the Panhandle area to join the F&B management team of a multi-restaurant and bar waterfront resort. From there, Kayleigh went on to explore a “multi-unit farm” meets “fast-food” concept.
Best known for her incredible artistic flair, Kayleigh’s interests focus primarily in organization, human nature, and personable connections.
When not at the restaurant, Kayleigh loves to read, paint, and take her rescue dogs paddle boarding and kayaking. She also enjoys taking dance classes, volunteering at Alaqua Animal Refuge, and volunteering for an online mental health hotline.  In spring and summer she likes to play intramural beach volleyball.
